Welcome to District of Cascadia. This blog is place for me to wax poetic about my favorite  sports teams from my hometown of Washington D.C. as well those from my adopted home of the last 15 years in Portland, Oregon. Thousands of miles of distance hasn't dampened my passion for teams like D.C. United, the Washington Capitals, or the Baltimore Orioles, but rather has given me the amazing opportunity to expand my fandom and explore and immerse myself in one of the most underrated and special sports towns in the country.
